So, I was tagged by so we all have to suffer through this and be reminded once again of how much of a boring nutjob I am...

Rules

Ten things about
1. I've got three fanfics and a novel rattling around in my head, fighting for my attention.
2. I love snakes- want a pygmy Burmese Albino Python...but the hubby won't let me have one.
3. I can tell you almost anything about any of the four members of the Monkees from memory- without looking it up... Their birthdates, childhood ambitions, where they lived, who they married, when they married them, when they divorced, how many kids they had, who they had them with, how many siblings they have, their siblings' and childrens' names, what David sang at his daughter's wedding, how and when and where David died... My room, when I was in high school, was literally covered- floor to ceiling- in pictures of them.
4. I'm a friendly person once you get to know me, but getting to know me is the hard part.
5. I am, to some extent, a furry. I identify very much with felines and tend to refer to myself as a kitty (when I'm not talking to my family, that is)...
6. I find people completely and utterly ridiculous. To some extent or another, I hate humanity as a whole. The fits they pitch over the dumbest things... Ugh. Makes me ashamed to be counted as part of the race.
7. I have Celiac's Disease- which means I am unable to process Barley, Wheat, Rye, MSG, Modified Food Starch and a couple other things. If I eat anything with any of these things in it, I run the risk of giving myself Colon Cancer... It sucks.
8. I am Autistic...by which I mean (at least until the diagnosis is eliminated and swallowed by the spectrum as a whole) that I have Aspergers' Syndrome. Emotions confuse the HELL out of me. I don't understand them and can almost never identify them at all. Also... My nerves are like raw wires...I pick up on a person's bio-electric and emotional output like a plug in a socket picks up on electrical current. It's alternately painful and terrifying- frequently both.
9. I get chronic migraines which can last anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks and put me out of commission for most, if not all, of that time period... Causes range from eating something I'm not supposed to, to muscle tension in my neck caused by the monstrosity I'm forced to carry around on my chest, to sensory over-stimulation and overload.
10. When something new interests me I become a bit obsessive looking for everything and anything I can find about it.  (Part of Melpomene's answer, but it goes for me, too.)

1. Favorite medium for art/writing?
    I can't draw for shit, so I guess...uh...my laptop for my writing?

2.  Is your art school or self taught?
    I've been writing since I was in...nnn...eighth grade, I think... Yeah, 'cause that's about the time I first discovered the Monkees' tv show when it was on reruns on VH1.

3.  If you had to pick one famous person (past or present) to spend an entire year with who would it be and why?
    ...whuf....you don't ask easy questions, do you? Uhh... Fuck, I don't know... o.o

4.  If you could play any instrument in the world, what would it be?
    Hm. Tie between piano and harp, honestly. Years ago, I would have said flute, but my asthma has killed the possibility for that.

5.  You and three other people are stranded on an island.  After searching through all the things that have washed ashore you decide you each need a weapon.  Among the things you found were a revolver, a dagger, a long smooth rod(think quarterstaff) and bola.  Which do you choose and why?
    Quarterstaff. I prefer nonviolence when possible and to keep things that might hurt me at a distance without hurting them, if at all possible. Also, a quarterstaff is largely multipurpose friendly...you can tie a line to it to make it a fishing pole, lash a sharp rock or the dagger to it (in cooperation with the other people) to make a fishing spear, you can use it to assist in judging depth in a pool you might need to wade through, you can use it to help you knock down fruits that might be too high in a tree for you to reach with your bare hands...

6.  Catastrophe strikes the planet knocking out power across the globe and rendering money useless.  Do you try to form a community or go it alone?
    While I am hesitant to trust people, definitely a community. I'm not so arrogant as to assume I could make it on my own; I have nowhere near enough of the skills necessary to do so.

7.  Favorite wild cat?
    You may think me odd for this, but a Liger. And yes, they -do- exist in the wild.

8.  Favorite non-Christian god or goddess?
    Bastet

9.  What country would you like to visit and why?
    If you'd asked me five years ago I would have said Ireland. But now? Japan. The culture, the history, the architecture, the art...everything about it. ~<3

10.  What pet would you most like to have?
    Hm...there's two beside the cat I already have (and more later on once he's gone, which I'd rather not think about because he's my baby)... I want a Brown Sable Ferret and I want a pygmy Burmese Albino Python.
